Honesty about our system is the most critical element to convincing a new generation that capitalism and liberty go hand in hand. American capitalism is brutal in nature. However, it is the best we got in a republic we've been bestowed to by far greater men and women. These teachings must be met with actual results in our own country, not a rapidly declining kleptocracy. This is what I am calling out for in a new leadership class. Our communities must all strive to become independent in energy and economy alike.

The answers we're getting from the political and leadership class are not working. Truly investing in people is very difficult and time consuming and rife with the natural failure of the human condition. However, this is the only work we’re called to. This will mean redefining relationships and expectations from both the business and political communities alike.

It is time to help usher in a new era to the Democratic Party and labor movement alike, armed with new tools and institutions ready to take back what is rightfully ours. We must now fight for the future of our middle class. The most prosperous time in America was at the height of union participation in America. I know it not coincidental. The demise of our labor power is not coincidental either. This mission will require a complete class focus arguing, striving, and suffering to see the return of a healthy middle class come hell or high water.

The tender human heart can be easily moved when called to by righteousness. Never underestimate this. There is a love shared by our people, even if you cannot feel it in your day-to-day life. There is a hunger in our people to be pushed to greatness. To know this is this hunger, is something a ruling class can only hope to touch. It is they who live in a cave of darkness. It is they who do not understand the fire.

The love of our families is the light upon which we are all guided. There is so much to fight for but nothing more than family. Thank you most to my wife, who is proof that sometimes it is the love of a good woman that makes an ordinary man think himself capable of extraordinary things. To the prosperity of community and nation alike, God bless the United States of America. Let the debate begin... but most importantly, working people stick together.
